- Ideally hold a recognised Assessor award (not essential, as our client will put the successful candidate through the Assessor qualification!)
- Must hold a Dental Healthcare qualification at Level 3 or above, and be registered with the GDC.
- Hold occupational competency in Dental Healthcare.
- Confident with classroom / small group-based delivery
- Confident to support learners with Maths and English Functional Skills (as required).
- Must have a good level of ICT skills
- Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
- Assess and support learners working towards the Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing – both in the workplace and classroom-based setting
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
