Salary: £29,120 per annum + £50 per sleep

Essential Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Full UK Manual Driving License
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager for a residential childcare setting in Duston. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children, providing support and leadership to a team in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the residential childcare setting.
Provide support and guidance to a team of care staff.
Ensure the safety, welfare, and development of the children in care.
Foster positive relationships with children, their families, and other professionals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Support staff development through training and supervision.
Be available to take on additional duties, including overnight shifts.
Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (essential).
Full UK Manual Driving License.
Previous experience working in residential childcare or similar settings.
A passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work well within a team and independently.
Understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection.
