Duties:

– Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to owners’ preferences

– Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process

– Conduct health checks while grooming to identify any issues or abnormalities that may require veterinary attention

– Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the grooming area and equipment

– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing pet owners’ requests and concerns effectively

Qualifications:

– level 3 qualified

– Previous experience as a dog groomer or relevant training in animal grooming for three years.

– Proficiency in handling pets of various sizes and breeds with different temperaments

– Strong knowledge of grooming techniques, tools, and products suitable for different coat types

– Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger pets

– Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners

– Understanding of basic veterinary care practices related to pet health and wellbeing
