Purpose of Position
-
To support the Housing Manager to improve services for residents and all visitors.

To improve quality of life for residents by ensuring the security of the building, health & safety of residents 24 hours per day.

To help maintain an atmosphere and a culture in the scheme based on the Values of MHA.

To meet the support needs of people who use our service in a way that respects the dignity

Providing 24/7 contact to support and promote an individuals independence.

To provide an environment where residents can feel safe and well and do more of what matters to them.

To help residents to build personal resilience in self-managing their own health and welfare.
Number of requirements:
-
3 nights per week (36 hours), various dayshifts (6/7-hour shifts) Total 88 hours per week average

Initially to 1st March, may extend beyond this date

Hourly rate of pay

£12.31 per hour
Additional Information
-
Candidate must not be from Security background. Candidate must be from a Housing Support/Facilities Management background They will be required to act as the safety/security/concierge delegate for the service, responding to emergency calls, reception duties, facilitating activities etc)
Person Requirements
-
1 years experience working within an Older Persons housing setting
-
Must have an understanding of issues affecting older people, openness to learn & positive attitude
