Early Years Educator
Full-Time
Salary £19,000 – £23,000 (dependant on experience)
I am workikng with a small independant SEN school seeking an Early Yeard Educator. The school caters for children with autism and related developmental conditions.
They are seeking individuals with Level 3 Qualifications such as A-levels, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in the following or related subjects (early years education, childcare, and the children’s workforce).
About the Role:
You will work alongside our experienced team, contributing to the creation of individualised therapy plans that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. Your work will focus on driving meaningful progress in areas such as communication, social skills, and emotional regulation, ensuring each child’s holistic development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Applied Behaviour Analysis: Implement and monitor evidence-based ABA programmes that foster progress in children with Autism.
* Collaborative Programme Development: Work closely with clinical supervisors to develop and refine therapy plans, ensuring they deliver measurable outcomes.
* Mentorship: As you grow in your role, provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues.
* Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay at the forefront of Special Needs Education and Autism Therapy
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in:
* Social Care Workers
* Teaching Assistants (SEN or Mainstream)
* Support Workers for Individuals with Disabilities
* Nursery Nurses/Childcare Providers
* Speech and Language Therapy Assistants
* Children’s Services Workers
Working Pattern:
This role is 40 hours per week operating during Centre and School business hours: 8.30 – 5.30 Monday to Friday.
