£444.60 – £500 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

We are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly, supportive primary school in Northumberland, Ponteland. Working as part of an established team, the desired Early Years Teaching Assistant will be supporting in their Reception class. The successful Teaching Assistant will be expected to deliver both general and one to one support. This will be under the direction of the experienced class Teacher. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm. This school has recently been rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted. This school believes in a committed, supportive team and ensuring the children get the absolute best care. The school is ideally looking for someone with a Level 3 qualification, however would consider other qualifications if the experience is suitable.

Requirements

The desired Early Years Teaching Assistant will have;

Experience of working with primary school aged children
Experience of working with pupils with SEND
Delivering small group interventions and support
A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
An ability to work as part of a team
