Description
As an Electronics Test Technician, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting and ensuring our products meet our high-quality standards.
This role requires technical expertise and a commitment to operational excellence You will work closely with the production team to ensure that products meet specifications and are ready to be delivered to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing of electronic assemblies and final products during production to verify compliance.
- To develop and implement test plans, procedures and test systems for new and existing products.
- To troubleshoot and diagnose electronic issues, including circuit boards, wiring and components.
- To monitor and maintain test equipment to ensure accuracy, reliability and cost efficiency.
- To document test results, identify failures and maintain detailed records of the testing processes.
- To assist in the set up and configuration of the production test stations to support the production team.
- To ensure compliance and quality control processes are met at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in electronics / manufacturing industry
- A keen interest within the electronics industry.
- Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies etc.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Functional Maths skills.
- Detail orientated, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Desirable skills
- Experience with soldering and various hand tools.
- Experience with reading and understanding of wiring diagrams / schematics.
- A good understanding of electronic theory.
- Familiarity with electronic components.
- Familiarity with quality management systems e.g. ISO9001.
- A minimum of 1years’experience in electronic testing, engineering or a similar field.
- Basic knowledge of microcontrollers.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00-5:00
