Energy and Heat Network Coordinator

In this pivotal role within Great Places’ Energy and Heat Network Team, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of projects that enhance energy efficiency and heat network systems. You will ensure accurate data reporting, resolve complex billing and heat network queries, and coordinate technical, administrative, and customer service functions across a growing portfolio. With upcoming Ofgem regulatory changes, you will play a key role in maintaining compliance and delivering excellent service across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing

Assist with managing contracts for energy brokers, including landlord gas, electricity, water supplies, and heat network metering and billing.

Provide support for colleagues, service providers, and customers regarding heat network and landlord utility enquiries.

Collate and analyse data for tariff setting, service charges, funding applications, compliance submissions, and KPI maintenance.

Monitor team inboxes and respond to queries within service level agreements (SLAs).

Support the service charge team with tariff setting, billing accuracy, heating charge reconciliations, forecasting, and debt management.

Monitor and analyse energy consumption and heat network performance to identify areas for improvement.

Ensure activities comply with relevant regulations, including upcoming heat network standards and health and safety guidelines.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and assist in organising customer and contractor engagement events.

Address customer complaints and queries related to energy billing and optimisation projects.

Support energy and heat network optimisation projects, including invoice processing, supply transfers, and obtaining energy cost forecasts.

Contribute to securing funding and delivering retrofit projects to improve heat network performance.

Gather and maintain data to ensure consumer protection and regulatory compliance.

Provide regular performance and project reports to support business objectives and funding submissions.
What you’ll need

Experience of working in a dynamic customer focussed environment, with a proven ability of delivering a high standard of customer service and a positive attitude towards resolving customer complaints and requirements

Competent using Office 365 (compiling letters / reports / small spreadsheets)

Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and at all levels).

Being able to work independently and time management within a busy team.

Knowledge of social housing is desirable, but not essential.

Attention to detail.

Experience and understanding of safeguarding.

Experience of metering and billing/energy and/or heat networks (Desirable).
