We are offering 3 apprenticeship opportunities at our Lincoln site for engineering apprentices to join our busy maintenance teams with an approximate start date of 01 August 2025.

In this apprenticeship you will get the chance to develop hands-on technical & engineering skills . You will also learn how to work safely and effectively in an fast-paced environment.

You’ll need to have a genuine interest in how things work and be willing to take on a three year apprenticeship program. You must have good communication skills and be self-motivated. You’ll need to employ good housekeeping standards and work within our Health and Safety guidelines.

Working week

Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (day release to college)

What will the apprentice be doing?

Assisting engineers with breakdowns

Assisting engineers with planned corrective maintenance

Assisting engineers with planned inspections

Involved in projects

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician apprenticeship standard:

Shadowing a trained engineer on site

Maths and English functional skills

Basic first aid at work

Abrasive wheel training

Harness training

Weekly college-based learning
