Graduate Engineering Geologist

Location: Northampton

Salary: £24,000 – £28,000

This is a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic geology, geotechnical engineering, geoscience or earth science graduate to join an expanding team of Geo-environmental and Geotechnical Specialists. You’ll be working on a variety of Ground Investigation projects in and around the Midlands, applying your educational knowledge and developing amongst the team.

This Graduate Engineering Geologist role offers:

The successful Graduate Engineering Geologist applicant will be:

  • Carrying out Phase I and Phase II investigations.
  • Borehole logging.
  • Soil and rock sampling.
  • Trial pitting.
  • Groundwater and Gas monitoring.
  • Shadowing senior members of the team to develop skills
  • Factual and interpretive report writing

As a result, this Graduate Engineering Geologist Engineer role requires:

  • A degree in Geology, geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, geoscience, earth science (or a similar relevant subject).
  • Commutable to Northampton, and willing to travel for work.
  • Willingness to show enthusiasm and a keen interest in developing knowledge.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • A Full right to work in the UK.
  • Commutable to or live in Northampton.
