Job Role: Engineering Assistant
Location: Sheffield
Shift: Days regular going onto a 3 shift pattern
Salary: £13.20ph
Metalis is working in partnership with a prestigious engineering company in Sheffield who due to continuous growth are looking to hire an Engineering Assistant to join their growing team.
Job Duties:
Moving materials
FLT
Overhead crane
General maintenance in the workshop
Some heavy lifting required
Assisting operators with the cutting and management of customer orders
Cleaning and marking of parts
Loading and Unloading partsPerson Specification:
Experience with FLT or Overhead Crane
Experience working in steel or engineering environment
Open to training and development opportunitiesSalary & Shift:
£13.20ph to start on days
Days for the first 12 weeks, then shift pattern
