Engineering Operative
£12.65ph – £15.00ph (DOE)
3 Month Temporary contract until 2025

Metalis are working with an established manufacturer who are looking for an Engineering Operative to join the team in Hope Valley.
Our client is a market leader and is therefore looking for an Engineering / Machine Operative that has operated workshop machinery.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Cutting materials using the CNC guillotine machine working with mild and stainless steel between 0.7 and 5mm thickness
Operating band saws and notching machines
Deburring using notches and linishing belts
Working from engineering drawings & specifications
MIG Welding
Adhering to strict health & safety deadlinesThe successful candidate will have:
Experience operating a Guillotine machine and a variety of other workshop machinery
MIG Welding experience (preferred – not essential)
Previous experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing companyShifts & Salary:
£12.65ph – £15.00ph (dependent on experience)
Monday – Friday, 37.50 Hours per week
Mon-Thurs 8.00 – 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00 – 12.30 pm (Early finish on a Friday)
This is a 3-month temporary assignment until 2025.
