Role Responsibilities – English Graduate:

  • Assist in English lessons, providing support to GCSE and A-Level students
  • Work closely with Secondary Class Teachers to deliver engaging, tailored lessons
  • Deliver 1:1 and group sessions to enhance student understanding and confidence
  • Help manage and regulate behaviour, maintaining a conducive learning environment
  • Develop key skills and experience needed to progress towards Qualified Teacher Status

Requirements – English Graduate:

  • Minimum 2:1 English degree from a top 20 UK university
  • Previous experience working with young people, ideally in tutoring or child-centred roles
  • A genuine passion for working with diverse students, helping them excel academically
  • Excellent communication and listening skills to support students effectively

Role Details:

  • Location: Waltham Forest, London
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract: Full-time, long-term until July 2025
  • Pay: £95-£100 per day (via PAYE, including holiday pay)
