English Teacher Required.
My client is a popular, highly successful oversubscribed school in Grantham who are looking for a full time English Teacher to start in January 2025 until the end of the academic year. The successful English Teacher will deliver the National Curriculum to Key Stage 3& 4 students Monday to Friday, what is key is that the successful English Teacher must be enthusiastic, set high but realistic targets to challenge the pupils to reach their full potential and have previously delivered engaging English lessons whilst effectively managing the classroom.
As this is a full time, you will assume the full time duties of a permanent English teacher but PPA time will be made available within the timetable and you get the opportunity to work in a supportive and well run English department with great facilities.
Salary is in accordance with the main point scale.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
To be considered ideally you will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a recognised Teaching qualification such as a PGCE, Bachelor of Education, GTP, Certificate in Education etc. and you must have experience of delivering English up to GCSE level.
Applications are welcome from experienced English Teachers as well as Recently Qualified/Early Career Teachers.
All English Teachers who register with Travail Education will have 2 years professional references taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed and be part of the DBS Update Service, you will also be required to attend a face to face registration.
