Zen Educate are currently looking for an English Teacher in Truro to work at a Secondary School. The school is looking to appoint a Teacher whilst they are recruiting on a permanent basis. The role will be full time, Monday – Friday, and will contain a scheme of work for the children Duties
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to students, from Year 7-11
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement
Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams
Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
Utilise technology and multimedia resources to enhance the learning experience
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
Teaching certification or qualification in English education
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for teaching
