An exciting opportunity working directly to our Chief Executive, the remit of this role provides an excellent chance to make a real difference to the lives of those who work and live in Stirling. This is an interesting role which encompasses our People and Communities, Customer Service and Performance, and Housing services. As well as overseeing the delivery of these services, the role holder will be a corporate leader, demonstrating strong leadership to the Council’s Senior Team.

To be successful in this role, you will balance strategic thinking with operational delivery, and will have a demonstrable track record of having delivered against local or national objectives in a senior role. Putting communities at the heart of everything you do will be important to you, and you’ll drive our organisational culture to innovate and to modernise Council services with people in mind, whilst leading high performance teams to achieve these goals.

If this sounds like a role you could exceed in, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply with your CV cover letter. For an informal conversation about the role, please contact Lisa Dunlop at dunlopli@stirling.gov.uk

Please note that this role will require membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme in working with both Children and Adults.

If you’ve got the right skills for the job we want to hear from you. We encourage applications from the right candidates regardless of age (restrictions apply to Modern Apprenticeships), disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief or race.
