About the role
ABC Teachers is seeking dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Stoke-On-Trent and the surrounding areas. As a Cover Supervisor, you will support the smooth running of schools by delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining a positive classroom environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with teaching or classroom management experience looking to gain more experience in education or work on a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring that students remain on task.
Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
Support students in their learning, responding to questions and managing behaviour effectively.
Report back on the progress and any issues that arise during the lesson.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Experienced Cover Supervisor you will:
Experience working as a Cover Supervisor or similar role in a secondary school setting.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain discipline.
Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments.
A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is essential.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Experience working as a Cover Supervisor or similar role in a secondary school setting.
