Field Technician/ Field Service Engineer – Engineering – Swindon – £27500
Hello Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting a Field Service Engineer for a capital equipment business based in London.
As Field Technician you will cover an area with a 30 mile radius of Swindon where you will be required to service, clean and maintain company equipment in your assigned area to ensure they adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLA) set by key accounts and are delivering a satisfactory product at all times.
Main Duties:
● To service machines, making sure the correct spare parts are obtained in a timely manner and consumables are not running out.
● To diagnose and fix faulty equipment.
● To deal with breakdown calls within the required lead time.
● To clean, wash and polish the equipment.
● To adhere to the routine procedures and policies.
● Clean driving licence.
● Checkable background.
● Good basic understanding of computers.
● Good basic fault finding skills.
● Good organisational and communication skills.
● Must be flexible, reliable and able to work with minimum supervision.
● Candidates must live on or near territory.
● Adaptable and willing to learn new skills.
Monday-Friday plus occasional weekend work.
Company Van will be provided; this will be available for business and private use
Salary £27,500 plus quarterly target based bonus scheme
Additional pay will include bonus scheme, pension, life assurance and sick pay
