Finance Administrator

Are you an organised and detail-oriented finance professional looking for your next challenge? Our client is looking for a Finance Administrator to join there dynamic team on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

Location:Edinburgh – Hybrid working
Duration: 6 months (potential extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Requirement: Successful candidates will need to complete a Basic Disclosure Scotland check.

Key Responsibilities:

– Processing purchase orders on the financial system
– Posting authorised invoice batches into the system
– Managing the finance team mailbox, ensuring timely responses
– Supporting contract managers with financial administration tasks
– Creating supplier accounts
– Completing month-end reconciliations, including journal checks & spend reviews (GPC & EEMS)
– Assisting the Finance Support Manager with ad hoc tasks

What Were Looking For:

– Previous experience in a financial administrative role
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
– Excellent time management skills
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
