As Finance and Admin Assistant you will provide financial and administrative support to the Assistant Finance Manager for the Distribution Centre, delivering timely and accurate value added services.

As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:

Raise and receipt purchase orders, credit card transactions and maintain purchasing logs
Allocate and order product
Maintain time and attendance system, including holiday and sick records
Report on Working Time Directive
Collate payroll and agency hours for payroll and purchasing and submit payroll
Provide cover for reception area and other Finance and Admin Assistants as required
Assist with period end trading.
Assist with collation of weekly reports required for quicks
Ensure all accounting policies and procedures are adhered to at all times

About You

We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this role!

Maths and English GCSE or equivalent level of education
Effective communicator
Strong administrative skills and experience
IT literate with experience of working with Gmail, Microsoft Office & Google Sheets
Good attention to detail
Team player
