We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to support our client in the effective management of their financial resources. This vital role ensures financial transactions are recorded and processed with precision, using both manual and digital accounting systems. As part of a collaborative finance team, you’ll have the opportunity to handle day-to-day financial operations and play a key part in our ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Grant Administration: Oversee weekly payments for various grant activities, manage adjustments, and reconcile monthly grant commitments.
Collectorplan Management: Handle financial processes, manage twice-monthly direct debit collections, and compile reconciled statistics.
Sales Ledger: Manage and process sales invoices, ensuring accurate recording of financial information and efficient credit control.
Banking & Cash Management: Reconcile bank accounts regularly, ensure monthly reconciliations, and handle ad-hoc payments, including international transactions.
Year-End Support: Assist with year-end financial reports, liaise with internal and external auditors, and support strategic financial projects.What We’re Looking For:
Familiarity with finance and reporting software
Proven experience or an AAT qualification
Background in a fast-paced, small finance team
Self-motivated and able to perform well under pressure
Ability to stay current with new policies and proactively suggest improvements
Strong skills in prioritizing and planning workload
Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service
Accountable and confident in making decisions within the role’s scope
Fluency in Welsh (written and spoken) is desirableSalary & Benefits:
