Your new company
Based in brand-new offices in Glasgow city centre, our client is recruiting for a Finance Operations Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. The offices are easily accessible by public transport.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director and working as part of a team of 2, the Finance Operations Assistant will undertake a range of responsibilities. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to; purchase ledger, sales ledger, handling queries from clients and suppliers, email inbox management, payment runs, statement reconciliations, inter-company transactions, investigating discrepancies, month-end reporting and general associated tasks.
What you’ll need to succeed
Previous experience in purchase and sales ledger is essential. You will have professional communication skills both verbal and written as you will liaise with clients, suppliers and colleagues on a daily basis. Good knowledge of Excel is required, and it is advantageous if you have experience of SAP, although not essential.
