An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Nurture Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and forward-thinking team in a Cardiff based Primary School. This full-time role offers a chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners who require extra emotional and educational support.

About the Role

As a Nurture Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide tailored support to children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Assist in delivering the nurture curriculum, focusing on building confidence, resilience, and social skills.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning plans.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where all pupils feel valued.
Support small groups or one-to-one sessions to address specific learning needs.
Promote positive behavior and emotional regulation through structured interventions.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Is passionate about supporting pupils’ emotional and academic development.
Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Can work collaboratively as part of a team but also use initiative when needed.
Any experience with children is valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
