Description
The HireWorks are currently recruiting for a Gardener to work for an excellent team in Cambridge. The role is working on fantastic grounds in the centre of Cambridge and would be a great opportunity for anyone who has previous experience working in a similar position.
The role is a full-time, permanent position working from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.
Typical duties would include:
* Taking care of lawns and beds
* Basic maintenance of tools and machinery
* Pruning and taking care of trees and shrubs
* Ensuring paths and pathways are cleared
* Supporting the wider team as required
The successful candidate:
* Previous experience working in a similar position with practical hands-on horticultural experience.
* Happy to work at height on ladders as required.
* Experience using garden machinery.
* Good communication skills
A formal horticultural qualification would be preferable but isn’t essential.
