Key Responsibilities:As a General Assembly Operative, you will work as part of a small team to perform manufacturing functions in accordance with relevant standards and certification procedures.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Mechanical assembly
- Hydro testing
- Wiring assemblies
- Preparation and cleaning down of finished product
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reading and comprehending instructions and following established procedures.
- Collecting all materials and equipment needed for the process.
- Taking precision measurements to ensure the perfect fit of components.
- Selecting or modifying components based on measurements and specifications.
- Aligning materials and assembling parts to create complex units.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure the highest product quality.
- Maintaining equipment in good, clean condition.
- Reporting any issues, malfunctions, or defective parts.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Skills:
- Use of hand tools is an advantage
- Full training will be given on the above.
Ideal Candidate:To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
- Proven experience as an assembler is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Technical knowledge and the ability to read drawings and adhere to procedures.
- Competence in using tools and machines.
- A good understanding of quality control principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
- A strong commitment to health and safety practices.
Salary:From £11.50 per hour plus.Benefits:
