Are you a recent Graduate from a Mechanical Engineering background who enjoys variety and solving engineering challenges? This is very much a practical based engineering role, using CMM’s, CAD / FEA packages etc. This is a consultancy environment so you will work with several customers on cutting edge projects. The aim of the job is to help offer engineering solutions on mechanical based components. The business have a track record of developing Engineers in house to ensure they have successful careers.
Graduate Mechanical Engineer Salary & Package:
* C£26,000 to £28,000 per annum as a guide.
* 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays with scope to purchase additional days.
* 8% employer pension.

This Graduate Mechanical Engineer job will suit:
* A recent Graduate who has studied within a Mechanical Engineering field.
* Someone who is practically minded with good communication skills.
* Exposure to working on engineering project within a laboratory environment.
* Hands on in nature, good problem solver, comfortable communicating results to various points of contact.
* Flexible approach in nature, enjoy problem solving to solve engineering challenges.
The Graduate Mechanical Engineer job will involve:
* Forensic examination of components, materials testing, rig design and commissioning.
* Produce written reports and be able to formally present project findings.
* Use hand tools to investigate component assemblies. CMM’s for inspection etc.
* Understanding of CAD or FEA would be useful.
