You could be working in a specialist school or provision to heighten your skillset and gain valuable experience working with ASD and Mental Health Needs within Education. The Classroom Experts are representing several Primary, Secondary and Specialist SEN Schools in Lewisham and surrounding areas that are looking for Graduate Teaching Assistants to start immediately. This role is perfect for any aspiring Educational or Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists or Teachers!
The role will consist of working alongside students in their day-to-day school life, supporting learning in the classroom, managing behaviours and working alongside the school’s team of specialists that include Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapist and Educational Psychologists.

* Graduate Teaching Assistant.
* Working in Lewisham or surrounding area.
* 08:30 – 15:30 working day.
* Full time, Monday to Friday.
* £100 – £115 per day.
* Permanent contracts through the school available.
* ASAP Start.
Person Specification – Graduate Teaching Assistant – Aspirations within Psychology – Lewisham
* A keen interest and willingness to work with challenging behaviour and SEN.
* A recent Graduate in any discipline.
* Prior experience with SEN is preferred but not essential.
* Reliably commutable to the Lewisham area.
* Possess a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to acquire one.
