Graduate Town Planner – Cambridge

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for planning and urban development? We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Town Planner to join a well-established and thriving consultancy in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to take their first step into the world of planning with a supportive and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior planners with preparing planning applications, appeals, and planning policy documents.
Conduct site assessments and research, providing support on both strategic and development-related planning projects.
Contribute to planning reports and documents for submission to local authorities.
Support the team in providing advice on land use, development potential, and local planning regulations.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on a wide variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Attend site visits, meetings, and consultations as required.What We’re Looking For:
A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A passion for urban development and a keen interest in the planning process.
A proactive and motivated approach, with the ability to work well in a team and independently.
Knowledge of UK planning policies and regulations is an advantage but not essential.
Membership or working towards membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) would be advantageous.Why Apply?
