The stunning Feathers Hotel has 42 beautiful bedrooms and is situated in the town of Ludlow, there has been an extensive refurbishment to a high spec whilst maintaining the character of the Jacobian building. Our most recent celebration for the Feathers has been the awarding of a Rosette to our restaurant, the team are already paving the way to achieve our second Rosette! We also recently launched We Proudly Serve in our tea room!
We are looking for hands on Guest Services Assistant to lead our front of house team.
The Role of Guest Service Assistant-Front Office
The Guest Service Assistant will be responsible for a warm welcome with an efficient check-in and check-out, providing information to our guests. As the heart of the hotel the Reception team communicate with other departments and ensure information is shared for a great guest experience. The reception team ensure phones are answered, queries addressed, and that personal information is processed as required and stored securely.
An eye for detail, motivated, organised, time management, problem solver are all attributes that the successful candidate requires. Ideally the successful candidate will have hotel and Rez Control experience. The role of Receptionist will report to the Reception Manager, the role is on a shift rota basis with 5 days from 7 to include evenings and weekends.
