Helpdesk Administrator
Bridgnorth – Office Based
Permanent
Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 5 pm (30 minute lunch)
Salary – £28,000
We’re currently working with a well-established and rapidly growing organisation based in Bridgnorth that is expanding their team due to ongoing success. As part of this exciting phase, they are seeking a dedicated and proactive Helpdesk Administrator to join their busy office on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is office based only and hybrid working is not available.
This is a key position where you’ll be on the front line of support; handling emergency calls and emails related to breakdowns and urgent repairs, and ensuring remedial works are arranged efficiently.
You will be responsible for:
* Acting as the first point of contact for clients, handling a steady flow of calls and emails.
* Logging issues and accurately gathering details of the emergency or repair required.
* Coordinating with engineers to book appointments and assign jobs.
* Sourcing necessary parts to assist engineers in carrying out repairs.
* Liaising with subcontractors when internal resources are unavailable.
* Thinking on your feet to offer practical and timely solutions for urgent issues.
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a helpdesk, scheduling, or facilities support role is ideal.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* A confident and calm telephone manner.
* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Competence with IT systems and general admin processes.
