Description
Our client a well known national transport and logistics company require HGV2/7.5t Drivers to join their team based in Doncaster.
Role:
Successful candidates will be required to undertake the following duties.
- Home Deliveries of furniture into customers homes as part of a 2-person crew.
- Completing between 10-15 deliveries per shift
- Some assembly will be required – All training provided.
- Providing excellent Customer Service being friendly when delivering, calling ahead to customers and assembly of furniture items.
Requirements for the role:
- Current valid HGV2 or 7.5t UK driving licence entitlement
- Current valid CPC & Digi Tacho card
- No more than 6 penalty points (No DD/IN driving offences)
- Physically fit Lifting aids will be provided along with manual handling training, however the role will require you to lift heavy goods up flights of stairs and into customers homes.
- Friendly, polite nature you will be the face of the business!
Shift Times/Patterns:
- Start times between 0500-0630 daily
- Site is Operational Monday-Saturday, candidates will be required to work on a rota 4 days from 6 inclusive of weekend working by rotation. Optional 5th day available.
- Average shift length will be around 10-12 hours per day
This role has an immediate start following registration and successful interview.
