Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £100 – £120 per day

About the role:

We are looking for a passionate and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team in January 2025. As a HLTA, you will play an essential role in supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality lessons, provide targeted support for students with a range of needs, and contribute to the overall success of the school.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, with a HLTA qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for working with children and helping them to succeed.
• A commitment to upholding the Christian values at the core of our school ethos.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class support for students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring that all learners are engaged and progressing.
• Lead small groups or 1:1 sessions to support children’s learning, particularly those with additional learning needs.
• Assist in planning and delivering lessons, using creative approaches to meet the needs of all learners.
• Support the class teacher in maintaining an effective and positive learning environment.
• Help with the assessment and tracking of children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
