About the role: Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) ready to make a positive impact in a vibrant Camden school community? Application Requirements:

• HLTA Qualification: An HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Relevant Experience: Previous experience supporting Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 in a school setting.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to different classroom dynamics and student needs.
• Commitment to Safeguarding: A strong commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of children, including a DBS check.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Small Group Lessons: Conduct focused group sessions to reinforce key concepts and enhance student understanding.
• Classroom Support: Collaborate with teachers to deliver lessons and provide targeted assistance, adapting to various learning styles.
• 1:1 Support: Provide one-on-one support to students with additional needs, fostering their progress and engagement.
• Behavioural Guidance: Help maintain a positive and orderly learning environment, using supportive techniques to encourage positive behavior.
• Assessment and Feedback: Assist in assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and helping to adapt learning plans where needed.
