Pay: £100 – £120 per day

About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our school on a long-term basis starting in January 2025. This role involves working closely with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, supporting teachers, and leading small group sessions. As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting the school’s vision to nurture well-rounded, confident, and enthusiastic learners. This position is ideal for someone with previous experience as a Teaching Assistant who is looking to take the next step in their career or for someone passionate about working with primary-aged children in a vibrant school environment.

Application Requirements:

• HLTA Qualification or equivalent certification.
• Experience working with Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 students, ideally in a primary school setting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Adaptability and a proactive attitude to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on children’s learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver learning activities under the guidance of class teachers.
• Support individual students and small groups, ensuring inclusive and engaging learning.
• Assist teachers with classroom management and provide additional support as required.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to assess and support students’ progress.
• Create and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
