About the role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team immediately. The role involves working closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and leading small group sessions. As an HLTA, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing learning outcomes, bridging attainment gaps, and contributing to the overall success of the school. This is a long-term position that offers stability and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Application Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a UK primary school.
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
• Lead small group interventions to support literacy, numeracy, and other core subjects.
• Provide classroom support for pupils with varying abilities, including those with SEND.
• Monitor and record pupils’ progress, reporting to teachers and parents as required.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all pupils feel valued.
