Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Academics Rochester are recruiting for a Primary School in Chatham, who are in need of experienced and motivational HLTA’s, for a long term contracts to start March 2025.
The main support will be in EYFS and KS1.
As a HLTA, responsibilities will include
Covering PPA time for teachers
Small group work with pupils who require additional support with English and Maths
Delivering planned lessons to the class
The ideal HLTA must have / be:
Experience working as a HLTA
Expert behaviour management and have a range of techniques
Experience working with learners with a range of Educational Needs
These young people need consistency and so you need to be able to commit to working for a long period of time
Experience across all Primary ages.
HLTA qualification desirable
