Homeownership Officer

Newent, Gloucesterhsire

£24,000 per annum

Part-time 29.6 hours (4 days a week)

Everyone should have a warm, safe, affordable home.

As our Home Ownership Officer, you’ll play a key role in helping us provide this for people in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

You will be a friendly face delivering people-focused service to our homeowners, leaseholders, and freeholders. You’ll take responsibility for day-to-day admin and delivery of our homeownership service including processing sales applications for a wide range of homeownership products.

Proactive and organised, you’ll work together with our teams and external partners to solve problems and ensure the best results for our customers.

Drawing on your skills and experience you’ll contribute to the development of processes and policies that help us achieve our business objectives and KPIs as well as improving our service.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in property sales services and administration, Shared Ownership or property sales and an understanding of Right to Buy and Right to Acquire.

  • Willingness to learn and develop their knowledge of the housing sector.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, databases management or project management software.

  • A good written and verbal communicator that can communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.

  • Availability to work evenings and weekends on occasion and as required.

Qualifications

  • Good general standard of education

  • Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) associate or higher.

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business purposes.

  • Customer Service or IT qualification would be an advantage.
