Role Overview

As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of HR operations. You will assist with recruitment, employee relations, training coordination, and HR administration while working closely with the wider team to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Assisting with the recruitment process, including job postings, screening applications, and coordinating interviews

* Preparing HR documentation, including employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding materials

* Maintaining and updating employee records in compliance with GDPR and company policies

* Supporting payroll processes by tracking absences, new hires, and contract changes

* Assisting in organising training sessions and employee development initiatives

* Handling employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and workplace procedures

* Contributing to HR projects such as employee engagement, wellbeing programs, and diversity initiatives

* Ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies

Who We Are Looking For

* A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

* Previous experience in HR or an administrative role is advantageous but not essential

* Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to learn HR software

* A proactive approach and the ability to work well in a team

* A strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources
