Role Overview
As an HR Assistant, you will be at the heart of our Human Resources team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. From managing HR records to assisting with recruitment and employee engagement initiatives, this role will provide hands-on exposure to a broad range of HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews
* Preparing employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documents for new hires
* Maintaining up-to-date employee records in accordance with data protection regulations
* Assisting in payroll preparation by ensuring accurate records of attendance, leave, and contractual changes
* Coordinating training programs and professional development initiatives for employees
* Acting as the first point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and workplace procedures
* Supporting HR-led projects, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives and employee engagement programs
* Ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies
Who We Are Looking For
* Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is beneficial but not essential
* A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software (or willingness to learn)
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous learning
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
