HUB Coordinator – Part-Time (6-Month Temporary Contract)

Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday (mornings)

Our client, a pioneer in medical science, is seeking a HUB Coordinator to join their friendly and professional team in Edinburgh. This newly created role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact across the business.
This is a 6-month temporary, part-time position, with the potential for extension or increased hours depending on performance and business needs. You will play a key role in supporting operations between two sites—Edinburgh East and London—ensuring smooth communication and administration across departments.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will work closely with departments such as IT, HR, and Occupational Health, providing vital administrative and coordination support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritise a varied administrative workload
- Coordinate and support internal projects and initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and take minutes at team meetings
- Assist with diary management and meeting logistics
- Handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Support general office and facilities management
- Contribute to company events, team activities, and ad hoc tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a secretarial or PA role
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Mail Merge
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic working environment
Working Hours:
The role is office-based and requires 20 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday in the mornings. While hours will be planned to support business needs, occasional flexibility may be required.
Pay:
£14.50 per hour PAYE
Holiday entitlement accrues continuously during your employment.
