We are seeking a dedicated professional to support the welfare and progress of our learners, focusing on those with additional needs and looked-after learners. You will coordinate with external agencies, local authorities, and parents to ensure compliance with legal duties and statutory requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing annual reviews for learners with Education, Health and Care Plans, tracking progress, and liaising with curriculum areas to support individual needs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to equality, diversity, safeguarding, and Health and Safety, and an understanding of multi-agency collaboration. You should be proactive, able to prioritize responsibilities, and committed to personal and professional development. The ideal candidate will be qualified to at least Level 4 in a relevant subject and hold a minimum of 4 GCSEs (94, A*C), including English and Maths. You should have at least 3 years of recent experience supporting learners in an educational setting, with proven experience working alongside curriculum teachers to support learners with additional needs. A strong understanding of the EHC plan processes and statutory requirements is essential, along with a proven track record of achieving targets and standards. Additionally, experience of regular collaboration with multi-agency organisations, including social workers and the Local Authority, is required.
