Interim Finance Officer
Charity – Central London
6 months FTC
£28,000 pa, pro rata

Morgan Law is seeking an Interim Finance Officer for a charity in central London.
Main Duties
Process invoices by checking, scanning, and accurately inputting them into the Purchase Order system within two days of receipt
Coordinate with the Finance Assistant to ensure deadlines are met
Manage internal and external purchase ledger communications
Verify invoice coding and ensure VAT is applied correctly
Identify and separate invoices for the subsidiary Trading Company, ensuring correct posting
Reconcile supplier statements and ensure timely processing of outstanding invoicesCandidate Requirements
Seen to be working towards a qualification
Experience in either the public or not for profit sectors
Experience of using a Financial enterprise system
An ability to effectively navigate different systems and sources of data to make meaningful and timely reports with relevant commentary
Experience with year end and audit processes (E)Campaign Timeline
