Multiple School Sites Across the Trust
£25,000 – £28,000 (depending on experience)

My client is looking for a proactive, personable IT Field Technician to become a visible and valued part of IT Services team. Job Responsibilities

*

Be the go-to person on-site for all things IT – from fixing devices to setting up AV and supporting classroom tech.

*

Perform regular proactive health checks to keep our systems in great shape.

*

Collaborate with the central IT team to escalate more complex issues and contribute to process improvement.

*

Build relationships with school staff to ensure IT is always a help, never a hindrance.

*

Keep meticulous records of IT assets and assist with lifecycle management.

Experience Required

You’re likely already in a 1st Line or on-site support role and are ready for more ownership, mobility, and interaction. You’ll need:

A driving licence and your own transport – this is a field-based role.

*

Solid knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Office 365, and device troubleshooting.

*

A friendly, professional manner and the ability to communicate technical info to non-technical users.

*

A keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a drive to keep improving.

Bonus points for:

Experience in an educational setting or supporting cloud technologies.

*

MCP or ITIL qualifications.
