Role Overview
As a 2nd Line IT Support Technician, you will:
✅ Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues from 1st Line.
✅ Perform remote diagnostics, repairs, and proactive monitoring to ensure smooth system performance.
✅ Support infrastructure projects, including network upgrades and system checks.
✅ Manage AWS services (EC2, RDS), Active Directory/Azure AD, and G Suite administration.
✅ Conduct testing, patching, and imaging of devices.
✅ Provide outstanding end-user support for clients and internal teams.
✅ Assist with phone systems, RMM tools, and content management.

What We’re Looking For
To hit the ground running, you’ll need:
✔ Proven experience in helpdesk support, particularly 2nd line.
✔ Strong IT knowledge – including Windows diagnostics, AWS, and scripting (PowerShell/Bash).
✔ Exposure to tools like HaloPSA, Splashtop, Atera, or other RMM/service desk systems.
✔ Understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, and G Suite administration.
✔ Basic SQL query skills and familiarity with Cyber Essentials.
✔ A full clean UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel when required.
✔ Excellent customer service and communication skills – you’re the calm in the storm when issues arise!
Bonus Points if you have:
ITIL certification or framework knowledge.
Experience with Broadsign CMS.
