As part of our expansion, we are looking for a proactive IT Support Technician / Helpdesk Support to join our team. Role Overview
As an IT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. You will assist employees and clients with troubleshooting, installations, and IT system maintenance while gaining hands-on experience in IT support.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
* Troubleshooting and resolving IT problems via phone, email, and remote access tools
* Setting up and configuring computers, printers, and other peripherals
* Assisting with user account management, password resets, and system access requests
* Installing and updating software applications and ensuring system security compliance
* Supporting office networks, including Wi-Fi, routers, and basic networking troubleshooting
* Maintaining IT documentation, including troubleshooting guides and asset inventory
* Escalating complex issues to senior IT staff when required
* Assisting in IT projects, such as system upgrades and migrations
* Ensuring excellent customer service and timely resolution of IT requests
Who We Are Looking For
* A diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Previous experience in IT support or a helpdesk environment is beneficial but not essential
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
* Good understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems
* Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, routers, Wi-Fi troubleshooting)
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in the role
