Junior Design Engineer required. Our client is looking for a Junior CAD Designer offering enthusiasm, skill and creativity to become part of the design team. The role will be CAD orientated, working with SketchUp, AutoCAD & Inventor out of the company’s facility in the Brackley area.
You should preferably have a basic grasp of engineering drawing and principles. Good communication, numeracy and IT skills are all important, as is the ability to work as part of a team while also having plenty of your own initiative. Strong problem solving and a desire to come up with practical solutions will stand you in good stead.
Junior Design Engineer Position Overview
- Produce and develop drawings for a range of products and specification layout designs
- Document the development of designs whilst liaising with the design team to assure quality and efficiency.
- Maintain and develop customer satisfaction
Junior Design Engineer Position Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in a Design orientated subject
- Based in a commutable distance of Brackley
- A knowledge of CAD software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit or Inventor is required.
- Willingness to learn
Junior Design Engineer Position Remuneration
- Starting salary: £24,000
- Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
- Holiday allowance and pension
