Junior Sound and Air Tightness Test Engineer
Location: Colchester, Essex (Field-Based Role)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (flexibility required for occasional out-of-hours work)
Salary: £19,500 – £23,810 (depending on experience)

No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn, a keen eye for detail, and a full UK driving licence.
This role is ideal for junior candidates, school leavers, career changers, or those with an interest in construction, engineering, or acoustics. You will be working on a variety of projects, from high-end residential developments to commercial buildings, entertainment venues, and more.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out sound and air tightness testing on construction sites.
* Use specialist equipment to measure noise levels and air leakage.
* Interpret data and produce accurate test reports.
* Communicate findings clearly to clients and colleagues.
* Follow health and safety procedures on-site.
* Travel to various sites—a full UK driving licence is essential.
