About the role:

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team and support our students with English as an Additional Language (EAL). This role is perfect for a TA with experience in English language support, intervention work, or a background in EAL. You will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff, primarily focusing on small group interventions and one-on-one support for students who require additional help with English language skills. The ideal candidate will be approachable, proactive, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment for all children.

Application Requirements:

• Previous experience as a TA in Key Stage 1, especially with EAL students, is highly desirable.
• Strong English language skills, with the ability to support language development in young learners.
• Passionate about working in a multicultural setting and adaptable to the needs of a diverse student body.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one or small-group support for EAL students in Key Stage 1.

• Work alongside the class teacher to implement intervention strategies and track students’ progress.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that values each child’s cultural background.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure effective communication and consistent support.
