About the role:
As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, your role will be integral to supporting pupils in small groups and one-to-one sessions. You’ll work closely with the class teacher to deliver booster and intervention sessions designed to help pupils catch up and excel in their learning. Additionally, you will support children with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they need. This part-time role offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful difference. The successful candidate will be proactive, patient, and dedicated to nurturing the potential in every child.
Application Requirements:
• Experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils or in a primary school setting.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting children’s development.
• Familiarity with booster and intervention strategies is desirable.
• Knowledge or experience of working with SEN pupils is an advantage.
• A valid DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in delivering tailored interventions and booster sessions for Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Provide targeted support to pupils with SEN, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and implement effective learning strategies.
• Monitor and record pupils’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where necessary.
• Promote a positive, engaging, and respectful classroom atmosphere.
