KS1 Teaching Assistant

About the Role:

We are looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with boosters and interventions, working closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning experiences. You will provide small group and 1:1 support in English and Maths, helping students gain confidence and progress.

You will also assist children with SEN needs, help create an inclusive classroom, and support lesson planning. If you’re passionate about education and eager to make a real impact, this role is perfect for you!

We are looking for teaching assistants who:

• Have experience working with children, ideally in a classroom setting.

• Have a genuine passion for education and helping students achieve.

• Are confident supporting booster and intervention groups in Key Stage 1.

• Have experience or interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN) support.

• Are patient, compassionate, and adaptable in a fast-paced learning environment.

• Are team players with excellent communication skills.

Relevant qualifications (such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential – experience and enthusiasm are the key!
